Fundamental Crypto Asset Score

  • The Shiba Inu coin was created anonymously in August 2020 under the pseudonym "Ryoshi".
  • The meme coin quickly gained momentum and value as a community of investors was attracted by the coin's cutesy charm coupled with headlines and tweets from personalities such as Elon Musk and Vitalik Buterin.
  • Shiba Inu aimed to be the Ethereum-based counterpart to Dogecoin's Scrypt-based mining algorithm.
  • Shiba Inu and the SHIB token are part of a swarm of dog-themed cryptocurrencies, including Baby Dogecoin (BabyDoge), Dogecoin (DOGE), JINDO INU (JIND), Alaska Inu (LAS) and Alaskan Malamute Token (LASM). These lower-valued tokens have attracted investors who have missed the Dogecoin pump from USD 0.0002 to almost USD 0.75.
  • Memecoin investors are of the dellusional opinion that they will all get rich if they never sell and hold forever. A behaviour that has deprived many investors of a lot of money.

Shiba Inu is just like Dogecoin. In 2021, there was a rush for Memecoins and the most popular one was Shiba Inu. The reasons for this were the support of Elon Musk, the controversy around Vitalik Buterin (who had received tokens, which the creators of Shiba Inu sent him unsolicited; he then donated the tokens) and the listing on Coinbase.
Similar to Dogecoin, the token will only perform well in the hype phases of crypto. However, this token has nothing to do with long-term investment.
